A carpool trip looking for loons and migrant water birds, around the Chain O’Lakes area and other inland lakes in north-eastern Illinois.
This will be a carpool trip looking primarily for Common Loons, unusual gulls, and migrant water birds, around Chain O’Lakes and a few large inland lakes around north-eastern Illinois. Participants will meet with the trip leader at 8:30 am in Mundelein, IL. The trip will end at approximately 2:30 pm with lunch at Looney’s Pub (off West Loon Lake, 40805 N IL Route 83, Antioch, IL 60002).

Bring your own binoculars and scope, if you have one. Leader will have a spotting scope to share.
