October 23rd @ 7:00 pm
Sandhill Cranes are highly visible and charismatic megafauna. But how well do we understand their lives on a daily and annual basis? This program will describe nearly 20 years of observing color-banded Sandhill Cranes in Wisconsin as part of a scientific research study. We will explore demographic characteristics, behavior, and conservation of Sandhill Cranes while conducting this research.
